Nebraska K-12 Threat Assessment Consultation
Nebraska K-12 threat assessment teams are encouraged to obtain consultation from someone outside your team when you are unsure or if the case is complex.
This consultation can take several forms:
Consulting with
your legal consul.
Consulting with
experienced threat team members in other K-12 schools.
Consulting with
an external threat assessment professional.
This project is a partnership between the University of Nebraska Public Policy Center and the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.

School Threat Assessment Teams that have completed "Basic Threat Assessment" training may access threat assessment or management consultation by contacting Dr. Mario Scalora at mscalora1@unl.edu or Dr. Denise Bulling at dbulling2@unl.edu, or by completing this form.
